This is a photograph I took a couple of days ago of the original AC factory in Thames Ditton. The building is, and has been, occupied for many years by a firm of architects with whom I have worked for over 30 years. Up until a few years ago, you could still see the original painted words on the outside which were very faded, these for some reason has now been painted over with the "Amazing Cars" wording, so another bit of history is gone forever. The other picture is of the plaque fitted to the wall on the other side of the building, which was sponsored by the AC Owners Club. I thought this may be of interest. The other factory further down the road is now a site of new housing.

 I have just had another small batch of repro horn flicker switches made. The last two batches sold out very quickly. I only get a few made at a  time. I have both types, the "early" type switch with the plastic thread and the "later" type with the metal thread. Both types have the correct BAT handle and are complete with the chrome mounting ring. Both switches can be used with either the screw connectors or the more modern spade connectors. If you are lucky enough to have an original switch, put it away in a cotton wool lined box and fit one of these repro's nobody will ever know the difference when it's fitted and your original is preserved.
