"Everything on the car is original except the fresh paint"

Here is the Ebay auction (words) January 2011: "Off road since 1975, rotisserie restoration in progress, no rust, in primer-needs paint, drivetrain and suspension done." Matt-seller

WTF? Which is it?? ???

The recent auction words were first.

The 2011 auction words were below.

Has some nice options:

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/cto/6503455295.html

Located in Mesa, Az. Not my car.

1969 Mach 1 : Original options include; Shaker, fold down seats, blacked out hood, power steering and AC. Has some rust in the rear floor pans and in the lower areas of the quarter panels. The rails and rockers appear to be in good shape. A 302 motor and a C4 come with the Mach, although the condition of those are unknown. The fold down seats with fiberglass panels and high back bucket seats are both present with the car.

1969 Grande : Is fairly complete with very little rust. The floors in this car are nearly perfect and would be ideal as a part car for the Mach 1 (The reason we bought the Grande). Most of the deluxe interior is still in the car and it is an AC car.

Both vehicles have clean AZ titles and are located in East Mesa. Call or text at anytime for more info.
Will sell the cars separate, although i would like to keep them together as the Grande has very good doors, floors, fenders and parts.
$10,000 for both cars- $7500 for Mach, $2500 for Grande

Current Bid is $200K      This will be interesting....

Don't forget: Excellent past history, all original, never hit, rust-free body, with matching numbers, and/or race history, "unrestored", will demand the higher prices (many privately) than most collector car auctions. This is for 65's and 66's, in my opinion. Have you seen the Shelbys at the auctions in the last 3 years? Like, up really close, in person? And the prices they get are still very high at auction.

non-driver for 140-150k?  IDK about that.  You can buy a nice driver+ all day long around 120-130k.

Just look at past auctions and car listed for sale.

Here is one at 129k

This same 66 Shelby (1433) was offered for $195K in 2017 by the same dealer.

1965 GT350/R-Model / Re: 5S199 at BJ Scottsdale

My records show that there were claims of an original drivetrain. I was also surprised about the selling price. Please consider having a 65 Shelby expert inspect the car for an honest answer for validation.
In the meantime, just drive and enjoy it!
