+ 1 for non venting fuel cap causing vacuum in the fuel tank. Easily eliminated as a symptom.

Your car looks great! I don't usually like larger diameter wheels on '60's muscle cars of any make, but these really work well on your car. Well done and if it drives as good as it looks, you have a really sweet ride there.
