For me it's 'Slap Shot'! A classic for sure. One of those movies you can watch over and over again and still laugh your a$$ off.

Awesome vintage pictures Pete. I would give anything to see photos of KR 4052 before it was crashed.
Great job as usual!

That Comp 268 H sounds like what I need. Thanks for the input.

Looking for recommendations for a stock replacement cam for my KR. Car is a 4-speed with A/C, ps and pb.
              Thanks, Pete.

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Sealer

Quick question. Before I put the lower side scoops on, was there any kind of sealer used on the 3 small holes originally intended for the Mustang quarter panel ornaments. Would it be a dab of the same sealer used for the scoop itself?
               Thanks,  Pete.

Thanks Bob, the high temp stainless steel paint sounds like the way to go. I'm trying to use as many of the original pieces from this car as I can. While the shiny new reproduction parts might be nice, they are just that...reproduction.
          Thanks again, Pete.

Hello all. Getting ready to install the original exhaust back on my KR. Mufflers and pipes are very solid, but after over 50 years they obviously have plenty of surface rust.
Looking for ideas/suggestions. Not going the concours route, but want the exhaust to look fresh again. I would like to apply some kind of finish to preserve it. Perhaps a chemical cleaning and a high heat mat clear. Maybe a natural steel paint?
Any past experience or ideas would be very much appreciated.
                                        Thanks, Pete.

Good morning all. Assembling the Cobra Jet for my KR and getting ready to put the exhaust manifolds on. The manifolds have been surfaced and I checked the head surface; it's straight and true. I've had a couple of opinions on gaskets vs no gaskets.
Any opinions? I'm not concerned with being "correct", I just don't want leaks. As you all know it's a bear to remove the manifolds in the car. Some say gaskets, one other said no gaskets, just a thin layer of grease to the manifold surface.
  Hmm... what to do.  :-\

                            Thanks, Pete.

NPD lists it as currently out of stock in all 4 locations.

Coralsnake is having some issues with the website. Pete posted that he  is working to get it resolved. I'll try and dig up some photos of my KR. It's an original paint raven black car.
