I have a clunging noise in the left side  & believe it is the lower strut rod. I can move both strut rods up and down but the left is easier . Anyone replace these & the  kit I have has two bushings & and washers with a sleeve . Any help would be appreciated.

Any photos of the open letters & closed letters ?

Here are two images, open letter sand cast - typically not painted (I think) and solid letter typically wrinkle-black.

many other nuances...

use the search window upper-right of the Home Page and type "valve cover" it will bring up pages of links to threads

Thanks

On forum 1 I asked when the closed letters began showing up for the 66s and I believe the answer was around 1300 or so.

Any photos of the open letters & closed letters ?

Is there much difference in original valve covers than the after market ones & what would be a fair price for a set of originals?

Did you install bar upside down?
No I looked at that first time I took it out & found I had a clunk .

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Front Stabilizer Bar
February 29, 2020, 09:05:49 PM

I recently changed my rubber bushings just because they were cracking around the  outside edge not because they were worn. I also changed the stabilizer pins. I took the car out & now have a clung when I hit a bump & it seems to be on the driver side.  What I noticed is the drivers side pin is not straight up& down like the passenger pin , not sure why . Any thoughts on this?? Bushings seem okay on the bar.

I bought perfect bullet ones a few years back and use them all the time. The name of the supplier was Del City
Its for a 66 Rally- Pac wires,  they were cut off so need mostly male ends & one female . I found some at local parts source but they are larger on the pin side & do not mate with under dash plug in`s

Anyone know of a supplier that sells bullet type wire connectors that fit the Ford connectors (male & female )??
