Sorry not sure what the difference is whats a closed letter one look like , didn`t know there were two types. So is there two different part numbers ?

 Just need some idea of what a new set of O.EM valve covers would cost now a days   ?

Did all 68 `s come with a drain pug in the bottom of the tank or maybe mine is not an original ?

 Thanks to everyone that responded  as my voltage regulator is an original & thought  it was not in spec. being  that it  was old .  Go to show old parts keep going.

 Anyone know the proper output of the voltage regulator ? Mine registers  15.24  V to 15 .4 V just wonder if that is normal.

  Right side or left side back or front ? Do you think a person could see it with a mirror & light or are they to faint to read?

  Is the serial number of the car stamped on the transmission?
