1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / 1966 Steel Hood
June 02, 2021, 10:24:21 AM
Good morning everyone. I am seeking info on my 1966 GT350 Steel hood, as I am writing an ad for Bring A trailer, and I want to be as accurate as possible.

I have been reading articles for several weeks, and the common theme seems to be that most of these hoods were placed on Hertz cars, for added durability? Is that true? Any additional insight you can share would be appreciated, and thank you in advance. Oh, and corrections to my assumption are appreciated, and welcomed!!

Just got an e mail from bring a trailer, 1-2 week delay on their part. I will post  a link here when the auction begins. Thank you as always.

Sorry, I had them set to private, what a nube, they should open up now. My last SA Shelby is gone, plus all my webers, intakes, wheels, brakes, seats, transmissions, engines, steering wheels.

This is all that is left plus a set on NOS 1969 or so GT350 valve covers.

Try the links again please.

350.00???? Free shipping?

Well, my wife found them after me saying I had found all of the  Shelby parts. WRONG, so here you go, still in the box ( box has seen better days) 2 never installed later 66 - 69 Small block valve covers. There are many on  e bay, in the 500-750 range and I think those are over priced, so how about 400.00 plus 25.00 for shipping.  If I am out of line price was, please let me know. I know there are lots of reproductions, but these are correct for the person that wants originality I would think. Thank you for looking, can take more pics if you have genuine interest. Shipping label still intact! Is this a realistic price?

Text me please if yo have interest. 239-537-4369.

Removed from my car several decades ago, I from comments here know that it it probably not original to my car, but is till a nice vintage item. New from Branda, they are 1250.00 so I'll price this one at 1100.00 including shipping within the Cont USA.  The intake that was used with this carb has been sold. Thank you.

Thank you.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Carb Id

May I get some help on ID'ing the date on this carb please. It was on  6S2166, and removed when the car was converted to primarily a track car. 0689, does that indicate that irt was made in June 1989?
