I have Hagerty. When my 1958 Thunderbird was rear-ended by an idiot in traffic, they paid the $16,000 agreed value for the car. No bickering or silly questions asked. When my 1967 Fairlane station wagon got its windshield broken, they paid $521.26. No bickering or silly questions asked. You would think they would get out of Florida because of all the flooding and hurricanes. The carbon credits thing is pretty stupid though considering their clientele. Maybe they want out of California because they think the big one is coming. God forbid!

Highest peak torque, 1970 Caddilac 500. 525-lbs ft of torque. Not a Muscle engine car but the most torque.

It makes me wonder if they were testing Mopar's 6-pack setup on a 428 to see if would be good for production. Or someone just had some spare time and was playing around.

Those are 1979 to 1990 LTD Crown Victoria rear brakes from a station wagon, or a police car. I have them on my Fairlane station wagon and I took them off a 1984 Ford full size station wagon. You can probably get them at a junkyard for a lot less money.

If it's the 400 hp 30003 kit, I installed one on a 1970 El Camino with a 383 auto and a (I'm serious) 1989 land rover with a modified 4 liter and a 5 speed. Both worked great and both owners were very happy how they ran.

I assume you mean 68 Cougar with R & W code. I can see the early W code cars getting them, but R production started in February 68. Maybe some Mustang 135 cars got SPEC cases? They were built late December 67. About a week or so after the 7L20 and 7L21 no N nodular cases started getting made. Just for reference, my May 11, 1968 Torino GT R code fastback has its original 7M21 case with 31 spline 3.91 trac lock.

I was watching those cars race at Nashville. Is that the same 67 coupe that's hood would bend up in the middle like a fish's open mouth every time it got to the end of the front straight just before turn 2? If it is, that car sounded good, but it defiantly needed a hood pin in the center!
