Regional Shows and Events / NRA Car Show
August 15, 2018, 10:07:57 PM
On Sept 23rd the NRA has a great car show, the guy running it loves Ford's, especially Shelby's
The pole are great, the museum is awesome and it's a great time
Heck, I don't even like guns, but I love going to this show and seeing the cars and the museum
Space is limited and they try and get a crosssection of vehicles, so sign up and bring your Shelby or just come and see the show

We are locked and loaded heading for Detroit at 4:00am. It's my birthday weekend, so we always try and do something memorable, last year it was go to South Carolinia for the eclipse, then 2 days later in Lancaster Pa. for a ride in a Ford Tri-Motor, the year before it was drive to the Simone Museum and get up close and personal with the original Daytona Coupe, even got to park right next to it and see it drive. This year it's the Woodward Dream Cruise, I hear we might run into some rain on the way out, but that helps keep the dust down
Hope to see a lot of the Shelby products cruising around
This is what life should be about, driving around and doing things that are memorable

Norwalk is an awesome track, be sure to get the "pound of Ice Cream" for a $1, thats right its a pound of Ice Cream for only $1
Seats are great, track is beautiful, the bathrooms are so clean you would eat the Chili Burrito Hot Pepper and Cheese breakfast and not have to worry.

Hey, Randy, Keystone Raceway is only 38 minutes from the Pittsburgh suburb world famous Monroeville Mall ( Where they filmed the great "Dawn of the Dead" movie)
Keystone is where TV Tommy Ivo "allegedly" ran the "first" 200
Want to try the drag racing thing again?

Is there a car show in Florida? I hadn't noticed.
Just keep posting them, one day I might have to go to Florida and see what all the hype is about living in Florida and maybe I'll want to go to a car show ;D

It's a 3D car, Distance, Darkness, and Drunkeness makes everything look great. It's got a lot of "flaws" but it's still fun to drive
Helps when you have a Wax B@tch to clean the car (a.k.a "the wife")
She helps out at car shows and I help her at at her flower shows, been married over 40 years and she hasn't killed me yet.
If life was fair I'd be a millionaire and married to a super model, but instead I'm almost broke and married to Miss Tobacco Buyers Queen of Charles County 1970.    ;D

Do we know the dates for next year 2019 yet

Looks nice, the wife put me to work getting ready for the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit on the 16th, the weather looks good just hot. Not looking forward to 20+ hours of driving but it's a great show. I did take the car out yesterday for a nice short ride, the heat is not making it real pleasant
Your car is a true first place winner, the right look, the right stance and the right color.

Jason glad it was something simple, Car was really nice, makes me wish I had a 65. The show was great but what made it better was the people. I was pretty sure that someone was going to offer free room and board for the week, a place to store the car at night and front row seats for the Grand Prix. We are already making plans to return for the week next year. The wife loves vintage race cars and she says all men turn into little boys when cars are involved
Thanks to all for the great time and hospitality
