I found a replacement radiator at Advance Auto Parts, with a on line coupon it was $88, got it the day after Christmas after discovering a small leak in the original radiator. They had it in stock

weather was great, lots of stuff to see and do, only sad thing was that there only 6 Early cars in attendance and I think one was a clone. Got a nice start on a sunburn

Unless it's pouring enough to think about loading the Ark, I'm heading up there tomorrow. Let's hope for good weather. Today it was supposed to rain all day, but is been mostly sunny and warm. Hope to see a lot of folks up there

Strangely enough I want to buy it after reading the description. I think it's just needs a little TLC and boatload of money

Bob Wingard shows up at the Annapolis Cars and Coffee on Sunday with a couple of these. Its actually quite nice, his one with a later model Ford engine with a supercharger. Fit and fish is pretty good. Bob is an actual rocket scientist

Can't make the opening night, but it should be good. Would love to see that maroon prototype fastback in person.  If it wasn't the daughters birthday and it wasn't raining, I'd drive the car up there

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Goodyear Blue Streaks
May 14, 2018, 05:53:52 PM
Okay, I've got my 5 original magnums redone ( thanks to Jim Cowles  :) ) and am saving up for a set of the Goodyear Blue Streaks from Universal Tires in Hershey Pa.
Has anyone every used them? Any insight would be helpful as they are a little pricey, but I will now have the 5 original wheels and a set of OEM Center Caps, a set of the Red Hertz Decals and the original 20 lug nuts. I will use these only for certain shows as I hear the wear on these tires leaves something to be desired ( I hear 5,000-7,000 and they are gone)
Has anyone used these tires? Any tips on storing them? Any tips on Installing them as they go on from the back side if I remember correctly (14" safety rim) . Should I search for a set of clip-on Goodyear type wheels weights or leave the weight off, or "hid" some stick on weights inside the riim.
By the way, the rims look great.

The Lounge / Re: Let's see some garages

I can't watch it, it makes me cry when I realize, "I don't have a garage"  :'(
My car lives one of two places, the driveway or the trailer
I'd post a picture or two, but there are only 24 hours in a day

1431 came with the kind of screws in the last picture, just look like a black pan head screw, had two cheap plastic tubes for spacers. Thye were black and looked like somebody took a couple of cheap Bic pens and cut them up for the spacers
