Back in late 1995 early 1996. this is what it looked like. it had been sitting outside uncovered in my dad's driveway for about 6 years. I quite driving it when the floor fell out for the 2nd time due to rust in the late 80's. We had spent about a half hour taking stuff apart to get to this picture. It actually drove in to the barn with rotten exhaust, no brakes and running on 7 cylinders because we had "borrowed" a spark plug wire for another car.  2nd picture was taken when we got it back on the road in 2012.

Parking cars sounds like fun. Maybe we can “valet” a few like “Ferris Buellers Day Off”

Is there a volunteer sign up sheet or is it just show up and jump into the fray?
Did a few years back and the day flew by, got to see almost everyone, had a blast and it made the convention so much better
Maybe you too could meet Jay Talbots Prius driving brother, he might even sign your car !!!!!

Covid slowed the progress towards the goal of driving the car 250,000 miles but just last week I cleared the 245,000 mark
Hopefully will be there by the next SAAC convention

Strange that the snow is only on the tires. I guess it doesn't stick well to black paint and or wax.

It shows up in a few miles

We use soft sided luggage when traveling with the vintage cars. Easier to make fit in where we want it to be.

Enjoy the trip, we expect pictures along the way  8)

trying to drive 2,000 miles in 30 days, got about 300 to go and 4 days to do it
May owe Kopec a story when done

When we had a small plane I taught my wife how to pack light. When she got a Volvo with a giant trunk all those lessons went out the window. When she got her 04 Tbird she drew on those skills again. But 2 weeks luggage should always fit in the trunk not overflow into the back seat.

Trunk had spare tire, tool box with spare parts, cleaning supplies, two folding chairs, California duster, emergency kit, jump box,  jumper cables and hydraulic floor jack.. trunk was full :)

The Lounge / How to store luggage for a 2 week trip in a 66 GT350H

You fold the back seat down and load it as full as you can 😎
It always amazes people when they see it driven “as a regular car”
Can also drive it in the rain in traffic

Learn a lot of new and inventive swear words. Then they just seem to pop on
