I have this piece of what looks like windlace that is bent into a right angle and I have no idea where it goes.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

I've attached pictures of the rubber quarter window pivot seal where I have it placed in the slot in the metal structure. Is that where the rubber seal goes or does it go in the slot of the Fiberglas side panel?
Thanks for the help

I am attaching the passenger side A/C duct on my 69 350 and as  in the picture I've attached, there is a hole in the metal tab I'm pointing to but I'm not seeing a matching hole around the glove box area that can be used to attach it to...any thoughts?

I'm looking for the most OEM looking Shock reproductions for a 1-9-69 GT350 Automatic, I thought I'd seen something in the past on this site or the Concourse Mustang site but haven't been able to find anything now that that I need to get some.
Thank for the suggestions .

I've seen the pictures posted on Concourse Mustang about this subject but I'm not sure I've got a good grasp of the whole thing. I'm attaching a picture of what mine looks like since being painted, I understand that the lower part of the inside of the leading edge of the fender should be blacked out as in Jeff Speegle's picture  (2nd attachments) but how far back towards the radiator support is blacked out? Also, my painter painted the hood pin attachment base in a  gloss black...should the blackout on the fender and bracket be a satin, semi gloss or flat black? Also the same sheen for the black behind the turn indicator? And the stone deflector where the fog lamps are mounted, what sheen of black is that? All of these things were painted gloss black by my painter.
Thank you

I've seen on this Forum and the Concourse Mustang Forum to use RTV clear (also ribbon caulk sometimes) to seal these pieces when installing but my question is what is the proper application procedure? Apply the caulk and put the part on and wipe off the excess? or caulk and wait for the sealant to set up a little before install then wipe excess?
or install part and caulk the gap and wipe excess? If the RTV is applied and then part is installed...do you tighten until most of the caulk is squeezed out and then wipe off the excess?

Can someone please help me with a picture of the bolts holding the upper part of the roll bar next to the shoulder harness reels? Also is there a washer under or over the bracket or is there both?

Does anyone have a passenger side rear inner fender splash shield they can part with or know of a good reproduction?
My front ones and drivers side rear are perfect but the other is toast.

Any thoughts for which of the screws I have in the attached picture is correct or is it a completely different one

Thanks in advance

Is this weatherstrip used on 69 GT350's on the underside of the doors? See attached picture. I'm not finding holes in the bottom of my original doors for attaching them.  It has 7 attaching screws
Thank you

The reproduction weatherstrip starting at the quarter window has 3 threaded studs with nuts and star lock washers attached, the separate attaching nut and bolt package from AMK for the quarter window has three rubber washers that don't show up on the assembly manual, it only show's a washer before the nut goes on which doesn't make sense. A rubber washer would be squeezed out if put on there, I could see one between the weatherstrip stud and body to maybe seal it off but the assembly manual doesn't show that. Any thoughts?

Are all of the painted interior panels painted with the Dark Charcoal Metallic? The trim pieces around the back, the seat fold down, the windshield trim all painted the same? What about the plastic trim pieces that go at the end of the dash and by the radio, they appear to just be  black...
Thanks for the help

When we're the VINs added to the Engine and Trans for 69s? Was it at Ford or Smith? Was it different for earlier models built at Shelby in California?
Thanks

Looking for correct seat bumpers, the originals (maybe) are round but the replacements I'm seeing have are shaped to fit the receptacle plate, pictures of both are attached. The round ones look like they could be the same as the trunk lid bumpers. Which are correct?

Who has the best Trunk Mat for my 69 GT350 Fastback build date 1-9-69. NPD says theirs is Concours but I'd like to hear that from some of you judges out there if possible?
Thank you

Day/Night Rearview mirror recommendations for 69 Shelby, my mirror is in rough shape and I need to replace it, is there a concourse replacement out there that I haven't found yet?
I've seen a Dynacorn reproduction that looks pretty good in pictures but has anyone compared one to an original?

Anyone have a suggestion for correct valve stems for 69 wheels?
NPD has a valve stem they say is Concours but is the 1 1/4" Dill 627 correct for these wheels?

I just wanted to share what I did to fix the order issue with my original ashtray.
The ashtray was is perfect shape from the outside but smelled like...well, an ashtray. I tried several cleaners along with vinegar and alcohol but nothing worked, also it was rusty on the inside. I then thought of Phosphoric Acid because it would get rid of the rust and leave a phosphate coating. I was careful to keep it on the inside and not splash the outside, I filled it up to the light holes in the side which covered the rust completely. I then checked it after 15 minutes to see how it was working by shining a flashlight into it to show how it was working on the rust.
Not much happened so I move my reminders out to every 30 minutes and kept checking it and after 2 hours...all the rust was gone! After a thorough rinse and dry, it looked good and no smell whatsoever! If you have to have have a perfect ashtray inside and out then this doesn't do you any good but I just wanted it to look good and not smell bad.

Anyone have good luck with a set of reproduction wheels out there for accuracy besides Paradise Wheels?
My originals are rusted.
Craig at Paradise can't get chrome rims right now so they've been back ordered for months. I know the Scott Drake aluminum ones are no option.
