Anyone have automatic shifter laying around that they can give me the diameter of the hole the shift arm goes into?
See pictures On lever and the replacement bushing. I have the bushing from NPD and it won't fit in the hole... I had to use a lever from a different shifter as my original disappeared during a move but don't know what year the lever was from as no part on that shifter has part number. I can drill it out but want to be right the first time. Any thoughts?

When replacing the printed circuit, do the washers go on top of the circuit directly under the nut or screw? It seems logical that way to keep the printed circuit from twisting as ithe nut or screw is tightened but I wanted to make sure and I can't find a diagram or Manual that tells.
Thank you.

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / 1968 GT500 KR no GT

Watching MECUM Harrisburg 2019 and see a Highland Green GT500 KR convertible going across the block but the
Side stripe only says 500KR not GT500KR, is that a thing? I've never seen one that didn't say GT on the stripe.

Question about what battery people have had good luck with, I've got the cover to go on top with the red caps but I'm looking for opinions. Also, does the H pipe insert into the exhaust pipe or vice versa? The exhaust I got from Branda four years ago and finally am putting on has the same size pipe so I'm going to have use an expander, they say the H Pipe goes into the exhaust pipe but it's hard to tell from the assembly guide and I want to make sure.
Thanks

Jan 8 69  build date GT350 with a/c, heater hose routing?
I've looked on various sites and seen conflicting pictures and the diagrams in the assembly manuals are not very detailed. Do both hoses lay across the intake or does the right side lay across the valve cover or something in between? Any pictures would be helpful. Also, what screw (finish)do you use for the ground wire to cowl by the wiper motor
Thank you

Has anyone found a spray can with a color that matches the Robins Egg Blue on the 69 FMX trans? I saw on Concourse Mustangs where someone had a custom color made up in a spray can but my tube now is not blue so I have nothing to match.
Thank you

Any thoughts on the correct hoses for my A/C? I've included a picture of the high pressure hose that was on my car when I got it 25 years ago. Now I'm looking for replacement hoses for my restoration and I've checked the Classic A/C website, they show a straight hose with no bend for the 351W and the hose with the bend fits a mustang with a 390 or 428. I'm also including a picture of the straight hose that Classic says is correct for my car and the one they say is for a big block.
Thanks for any help.

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Fan restoration 69 GT350

My fan is in good shape but the blades appear to have a clear coating that have yellowed in spots. I can use stripper to get it off but what if anything should I put back on the blades? I was planning on tapeing off the blades and bead blasting the rest of the fan and repainting it black. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

were the J Clips that hold wiring on top of the engine (attached with the valve cover bolts) painted blue along with the engine at the factory for the 351W? and then reattached when the Cobra Valve Covers were added? (like Intake manifold bolts, thermostat housing etc)

On a 69 GT350 Automatic Dearborn build date 1-9-69, 24" radiator with a/c, ps, pb. Are nuts and bolts attaching the the lower brackets or are they bolts and the nut clips? Also, what finish for the nuts and bolts? Are the upper front shock brackets black or unpainted, I've seen both.
Thank you for the help.

Question, is the bolt going into the back of the head for the engine ground strap painted or not?
Also, is there undercoating on the firewall screw for the other end of the ground strap and what finish is on that screw? Logic tells me that there wouldn't be undercoating if the strap was put on after the engine was in place unless the strap was put on the firewall and undercoated like all the other firewall pass through's. Any thoughts?

Recommended Transmission fluid, my car hasn't been running since the days of Type F. I've heard several opinions suggesting Mercon synthetic and people say no Type F.
Thoughts?

Looking for suggestions for a vendor that carries Dash Bezels that are painted correctly (pictures included) the Scott Drake Bezel I purchased is chrome in an area that should be painted silver. If no one has a correctly painted Bezel that's does anyone have a suggestion as to what the color is supposed to be and if anyone has it in an aerosol can?  I'm pointing at the chromed area below that is painted on the original bezel above.
Thanks
