Any thoughts on the correct hoses for my A/C? I've included a picture of the high pressure hose that was on my car when I got it 25 years ago. Now I'm looking for replacement hoses for my restoration and I've checked the Classic A/C website, they show a straight hose with no bend for the 351W and the hose with the bend fits a mustang with a 390 or 428. I'm also including a picture of the straight hose that Classic says is correct for my car and the one they say is for a big block.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.

Thank you Bob, I thought it was Aluminum. I should have realized it was too heavy and had to be steel. Any suggestions on refinishing? I checked Eastwood and they just list zinc plating or zinc phosphate. Also, replacing the bushings at each end of the linkage?

Any thoughts on restoring the look of the aluminum kick down rod for the automatic transmission in my 69 GT350?

Sorry but the only fan blades I remember seeing painted were thicker steel blades not the thinner flex blade types of fans, I didn't think the blades would be painted because I can't find any evidence that they ever were painted. I also thought they were aluminum blades but they are a flex steel blade.
Thank you for the help.

Jeff, are the blades unpainted as on my fan? If they are unpainted, I'm looking for a way to make them look good because they have stains and look bad as of now. Refinishing the black part of the fan is no big deal but do I polish or use steel wool or what with the blades? What are your thoughts?

Here's a picture Bob, it may just be stains after all these years. I tried Lacquer Thinner to get it off but that did nothing. I'll try some paint remover and see what that does. Any suggestions If that doesn't work?

My fan is in good shape but the blades appear to have a clear coating that have yellowed in spots. I can use stripper to get it off but what if anything should I put back on the blades? I was planning on tapeing off the blades and bead blasting the rest of the fan and repainting it black. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

were the J Clips that hold wiring on top of the engine (attached with the valve cover bolts) painted blue along with the engine at the factory for the 351W? and then reattached when the Cobra Valve Covers were added? (like Intake manifold bolts, thermostat housing etc)

356 build date 1-8-69 ((Dearborn) had a black cowl when I got it 25 years ago. It had been repainted an unknown white over the original Pastel Gray and it was such a crappy paint job that I can't imagine they'd have repainted the cowl.

Thanks guys

I have two spacers that were with my A/C compressor and P/S pump mount bolts and I have no idea where they go, any thoughts? Pictures attached (I hope)
