SAAC-48 / Judging Sheets in the mail
« on: July 18, 2023, 05:07:57 PM »
SAAC 48 has come to an end and the judging sheets for the Concours owners have been scanned and emailed today.

Trophies take about 4-6 weeks because they are personalized for each owner with the description of the car, award level, division the car was entered, serial number, the event location
and Natonal Award status so they are not confused with any other regional SAAC awards.

If anyone has any questions please contact me.

SAAC-48 / Concours forms and registration information
« on: June 01, 2023, 11:36:04 AM »
To help you get registered in Concours we are providing some information to help the registration process. there are several documents to help you.

SAAC Concours Guide lines that better explain SAAC’s Concours system and help the owners better understand the judging standards.

There is an expanded registration form that needs to be submitted along with the normal online convention registration.

Jeff Speegle has prepared a photo guide that details how to take the photos for the review process, part of being accepted for judging is a screening process where the head judges look at your application to ensure you're prepared for the judging process.

Finally a check list to make sure nothing gets overlooked.

SAAC 47 is over and some of you may not even be home but many want to know the outcome of the Concours Judging.
The Concours Team wants to thank the owners and let them know it was an honor to evaluate their cars, judging sheets will be emailed to each owner next week.

Trophies will take several weeks to design, proof and mail, I will keep you posted as progress is being made.

We are also asking for input on how we can improve the evaluation experience, please send your comments to Mike Shally at mshally@sbcglobal.net .

We also want to thank everyone who helped us during the convention.

The attachment of the agenda covers items like the introductions of newly created judging teams, how to interact with owners and owners responsibility's during the show and other issues.
Copies will be available to owners and judges at the track and will be discussed at the meeting on Friday at 8am, we are told there is a room available on the second floor of the media building. We hope to have signs posted ..

SAAC-47 / Concours Judging information
« on: June 07, 2022, 12:19:40 PM »
SAAC 47 is just a few days away and I want sure those attending the Concours Judging know how to get into the track, where judging will be performed, the location of the owners meeting, where to load and unload and the parking arrangements provided for trailers.
There are 3 attachments which include a Map with the preferred driving route, a outline with registration information and a list of cars that have registered.
The concours Team looks forward to the event and please feel free to contact me with questions.

SAAC-46 / Re: Up date on trophies
« on: September 24, 2021, 06:39:08 PM »
All the trophies are in the mail, let me know if there are any delivery problems, they are made of glass and are insured.
Let me know if you like the design and we are all looking forward to next year.
I believe the wait for the personalized  trophies will be well worth the wait.

Concours Talk / Re: How to find an old judging sheet
« on: September 21, 2021, 11:50:39 AM »
I went back and looked again in the 2006 SAAC 31 files and found car 04147 was entered by Nick Smith of Toronto Canada, this car received a Silver award, thanks Rodney for your recall. I recall that Legendary was proud of their restoration but we determined the car was not quite up to SAAC's standards of that time period.
Stephen if you would like a copy send me a private message with your email and I will send it to you as a pdf.
