I would like to lodge a formal complaint with the rules committee. I guessed $3.5M but "Biggie" failed to recognize my bid. Or was it the closest without going over? Ruling committee please...  :D ;)

When did you place that estimate My Friend?

1/9. I wouldn't lie to you Bill. At least not intentionally.  :)

Put me down for 3.5M if it is not too late.

Please don't blow this topic out of proportion!

This attachment/detachment method comes in handy when you don't want cars that you plan on passing to know what just went by them.  :)

NC must be the odd man out. That is alright, the early Christmas bills will have to do for now.

I recall, though not positive, that Charles Turner was the main guy.

While Charles was one of the more frequent contributors, I do not believe he had any control over the site itself.

Marv owned it. I don't recall Charles T having a presence there for many years.

I guess time gets away from me. I thought Charles was involved with some of the recent posting but I could be wrong.

There are a lot of "reportedly" type statements in the write up.  Unless it is true and verified it shouldn't be listed IMO.  Does anyone know anything about this car?

BAT uses that term quite a bit in my opinion and the obvious reason is an attempt to insulate themselves from being accused of stating something as fact that has not been proven to be the case.

I think we're going to be o.k. in Winston-Salem.  Current fcst indicates it's going to turn S at the coast, then head W, then swing up towards Asheville,  here only 4-6 inches of rain and 40-50 mph winds for Sat/Sun. Our basement garage is totally full w/7 cars and, if it starts to flood ours (which I seriously doubt), I've got enough jackstands to get most of them up a foot or more. BTW, Heacock Classic sent out an e-mail offering, if need be, up to $250 to re-locate insured vehicles.  Nice gesture!

Hey Stan -

I have more jack stands available if you were to need them. I am not too far away in Lewisville.

Try to find another one.

Jon

I think a few would come out of the woodwork at $80K.

Would love to see how many of these are in the woodwork. They don't surface often.
