again I didn't take this car apart originally so not sure about this... did the convertible deck lid use the stock rubber bumpers or did they get modified with the adjustable ones and were they put in the trunk gutter corner? I have this evidence that someone drilled them in to gutter corner but an not sure this is correct?

I think I am missing a part but don't know for sure. the assembly manual does not have a good picture either. is there a bracket that I may be missing that goes between the power top motor and the trunk floor?
pictured below is the motor and the floor which it goes. holes don't line up and in assembly manual it looks like there might be a bracket.
does anyone have a picture of this bracket? or an I missing or have wrong motor? thanks  Jeremy

I have been told that the side scoops on a 1969 shelby were installed using white double sided tape. is this correct? also if it is, does the tape go all the way around? does anyone have pictures of how the tape was installed on scoop? I'm restoring this early 69 gt350 and wasn't the person whom disassembled this car so I'm a little behind the 8 ball and figuring out a lot of these details because I don't have any reference pictures to go from. I usually take hundreds of pictures so when assembling I can refer back.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / best choice headlight???

What is the consensus on correct aftermarket headlight to use for judging? embossed ford logo? engraved ford logo?
Also did shelby use different styles depending on when car was built? thanks Jeremy

I'm restoring an early April completion date gt350 with inboard lights. so has big hole grill pattern. in pictures you will see 1/8" rivets with spring clip used as washers. This car has had front end work and has been changed from original but I wanted to make sure this was not a thing. I cannsee why they used the clip to help hold the lower grill in but have a hard time believing this is correct, I'm guessing the 3/16" rivet with big head would have been correct. can someone help with what I'm seeing is probably not correct in picture. thanks jeremy

Has anyone seen lower scoops attached like this? i'm restoring this january 67 gt350 with funcational lower scoops and i can not figure out how these were installed the way they are. i can only assume the inner part was installed and then the outer part was glued on. because there is no way to get rivet gun inside scoops to install the rivets??? quarters are original and it appears the scoops have never been taken off and reinstalled. anyone seen these scoops installed this way before? any ideas or thoughts?

I'm having an fitment issue on the taillight assembly for a  1967 Shelby I am currently restoring. I'm looking for several answers for basically the same question
I pretty sure I have the wrong combination of parts and that's why it's not fitting correctly. And I also already know as most of us with these cars, that are are several changes and versions to deal with according to when it was built..
I am working on March built car and need to know correct version of taillight panel, trim type and inner bracket combination for that time frame?
I have raised panel, taillight panel with studded trim bezel with flat  or L shaped inner bracket now and as in picture below you can see it doesn't want to go far enough in to pop rivet up. So I'm guessing I need the other inner brackets to fix this issue. But I want to make sure I have the correct outer parts for when car was built....
Could use some knowledge of this taillight changes and combinations of parts, thanks Jeremy

Okay need help with process done to paint front clip for a 1969 Shelby gt350 or 500. Im getting ready to paint a 1969 convertible GT350. I have never done a 69 and I didn't disassemble this car before I started restore. It came to me apart.
My question is....Was the stone guard on assembly when the base color of car was done? or was it added to assembly along with grill? or was it all assembled, painted body color, then painted argent silver. need help soon would like to paint tomorrow.
