The Lounge / Ethanol and old carbs
February 08, 2020, 10:33:01 AM
I'm here in California and I have not had any trouble with our gas and older carbs. I plan to be moving to Tn. in a few years. Is there anything I should do because I have heard horror stories about Ethanol and Old carbs. and fuel lines don't hold up well.
Any advice?
Thanks
Jess

I'm building a 1967  Gt350" Clone" not to pass it off as real one. This will NOT be a half A@@ clone !
I have the Branda Roll bar for it  What bolts are used to mount to roof inner side thru ears on roll bar? I have  2 bolts that look like seat belt mounting bolts but smaller in Dia. and longer with same style of bolt head. also ideas on a "nut plate for inside roof  structure .
Thanks, Jess

Ok  here is the deal I sent a reply to the Add and here is
What I asked

Hi,

Is there any drive line parts with car? are frount frame rails in tact? most of all does this car HAVE A TITLE?  is there a Shelby Id tag under the hood? photo's would be welcome.

Thank you,

Jeff

His reply:
Do have some some old documents for collecting only.  The tag was used on another car that was sold overseas.  It was made as a ealenor car so all these original shelby parts was not needed . The guy that did the ealenor was the guy before me in GA. Lots of original stuff here.

anyone know the Number to this car?
#27
Well good to know the transmission had numbers on it (it was a slim chance) but not for that car. Maybe if you look at Eng. Block on passenger side above oil pan there could be numbers stamped in there as well  Just a LONG shot

did they have any kind of extra support on the cowl area?

I'm getting ready to add my export brace to  my car. Question is I see  a weld in support on top where  export brace sits.Is there a plate on the underside to make mounting like a sandwich  style stiffening ?
Thanks
