Paradise Wheel is shipping my repo magstars next week. It has been more than 10 weeks since I ordered. Maybe I caught them at a bad time. Looking forward to seeing them. I ordered them with natural finish centers....

I am curious, after I ordered my set I noticed the price on Ebay went up to $450 per wheel. I was charged the old price. Were you quoted more than $400 per wheel?

Great find for sure but 27 years ago was 1991. What episode of the show is it on? Are they currently broadcasting episodes? I can never find them on velocity.

I have a set of 5 new, never mounted Cragar, Carol Shelby wheels for 1965-66 GT-350. Includes 4 Carol Shelby center caps. These wheels retail for $450.00 each from Paradise wheels (plus shippng). Paradise Wheels Inc.has the original tooling for these wheels and has been making them for over 30 years in the same method as Cragar was making them for Shelby. They are made one at a time by hand with 356-T6 alloy cast center and a high quality chrome rim. They are cast by Buddy Bar Casting, heat treated, machined, welded, trued, and polished to concours specs. Wheels are 15 x 6 with a 4.125 backspace. Asking $1,500 for the set. They are really nice!

Completed on October 23, 1967, and shipped new to Latham Ford in Latham, New York, this 1967 Shelby GT500 was one of the last cars to issue forth from the Shelby American Los Angeles Airport facility before its closure. Ford engineers had added volume to the 1967 Mustang through the front bulkhead to accommodate the 390 CI FE big-block engine for the new Mustang GT, so it was natural for Carroll Shelby to add even more punch to his GT. Drawing on the Police Interceptor 428 CI version of the FE engine, Shelby added two rear-mount Holley 600 CFM 4-barrel carburetors on an aluminum intake manifold and capped it off with his signature finned-aluminum Cobra valve covers and air cleaner; thus, the Shelby GT500 was born. The 1967 Shelbys were the first with custom body styling, incorporating an extended nose section, functional body-side scoops and an upswept tail section that combined for a racy silhouette. A full roll bar with twin inertia-reel safety harnesses headlined the Deluxe Mustang interior, which also incorporated a fold-down rear seat, 140 MPH speedometer, 8,000 RPM tach and Stewart Warner oil-pressure and amp gauges. Shelby No. 3206 has been with the same caring owner for almost 35 years. According to the car's Shelby Registry listing, he purchased it "after a weekend of racing at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course." Then, as now, the car showed just 23,000 original miles and still wore the small-letter Goodyear Speedway 350 tires on Shelby aluminum 10-spoke wheels. Finished in Wimbledon White with a black interior and optioned with a 4-speed manual transmission, the car underwent an extensive restoration, after which it won a Division 1 Premiere Award at SAAC 31 in 2006. It holds a special place in Shelby history as being built in the last week of operation of the Shelby LAX production facility.

Seller hit the lotto for sure...... Living in the Southwest, I have a hard time accepting that anyone would want a car that rusty. It is always much worse than it looks in pictures. Unless it is some super rare model I don't see the point. Just my opinion, most people don't seem to care too much for it anyway......

Those are popular with the Lighting guys or used to be. A few guys were making adapter plates to mount them on the 5.4 2v to take advantage of low cost blower upgrades. Good Luck with the sale.

Did all 69 Shelbys have the addition wrap on the shock towers?

I think those doors are usable. With a little work....
