Found this the other day on Marketplace.  Not mine but seems interesting seller says located in Scarsdale, NY

1967 SHELBY GT 350 Early production.289 hipo 4 speed. All early 67 Shelby original parts, Including lucas flame thrower
headlights, hood prop rod, steel frame hood, and trunk lid, running lights on upper scoops in excellent condition.
The paint has some minor flaws, not perfect. Time period correct paxton super charger added.
The first of only 12 1967 Shelbys painted charcoal grey. Matching numbers stamped on block and transmission.
This is a very rare car and color. owner. It was my neighbors car when i first saw it in 1971. I bought the car in 1984.
The car was fully restored in 1991.

So its the metal housing that I need where the gauges and wiring attach.  NPD sells the non tach version and refer to it as "Instrument Cluster Backing Plate".   The tach version I need apparently is not reproduced.

I'm getting ready to order my front and rear glass for 6S1816.  I have the original rear glass but the windshield is gone.  ESC is the company I'm using and the are asking a few questions on orientation.  Should the windshield etching be on the outside or inside of the windshield?  Should the orientation of the text be in reverse when looking form the outside?

Thanks

Bob,

Your recommendation to go with the 68-70 a/c or extra cooling radiator is a route I'm considering for one of my cars.  What fan/clutch would you recommend for this setup?

Thanks

Wanted to Buy / OE 65-68 windshield wanted
November 09, 2021, 04:09:28 PM
Hi all,

I'm working on a 67 and looking to purchase a very nice driver windshield.  I'm in the York, PA  / Baltimore, MD area and willing to travel an hour or two for the right piece.  Not interested in getting one shipped to me.  Date code not important but must be clear with no shade at top.

Thanks

I spoke with ECS representative yesterday about the glass.  I discussed some concerns about fitment accuracy and others that have had issues.  I was told they are unaware of any problems and have not had any complaints.  Either way I need to get the rear glass for my 66 and with a current 8 week wait I'm getting pressed for time.   Looks like I'm taking the plunge and will update in about 8 weeks with results.

Looks like I have the first design change with reinforcement just prior to frame rail and not the rear area.

All my brackets are inplace so transfer wont be a problem.  Worst thing is the tunnel was cut open for a racing shifter back 67.
