They are getting ready to close us up again. I hope we stand up this time, and that includes YOU California and New York! If not you can say goodbye to SAAC whatever number you want!
Here is an idea, let do SAAC convention in Knoxville, TN, as we will stand up against tyranny! Tail of the Dragon, anyone?

Just a hop, skip, and jump from me....You'll have to go in the middle of the week (Tuesday/Wednesday at the best days right now), and even then it is clogged with bikes and wannabe race car drivers (even a few lost RV's) who cannot stay on their side of the road due to the number of professional photographers looking to sell their wares to the tourists. I've had too many close calls with both crossing over in tight turns into my lane. No place really to swerve, mountain (rock face or dense trees) on one side, steep drop offs on the other..Even with a heavy law enforcement presence (marked and unmarked alike), it's not for the faint of heart or driving skill ..Pick your poison for the trip, but beware, it may not come back unscathed.

PS: Although much better than the flatlands of Florida were a 5 foot elevation is considered a mountain.

Just my personal opinion, strong ask for it's neglected condition.

Great story, my sound advice, is to separate your "parts wanted" ad and place it in the proper classifieds subforum for such items.

Anybody have contact info for Drew Projedinec. I need his Holley 715 services and he posts somewhat infrequently here.

Thx Ray

I believe he is out of town and the moment. Air, fuel, spark is his Facebook page concerning carbs

I just got back from the 7th dimension and saw that Carroll Shelby is President of the United States and there is a Shelby Mustang in everyone's driveway plus if you don't burn petrol you are accused of contributing to global warming because in the seventh dimension the combustion engine actually stops global warming.

Perhaps I should post my April 1st "Free" Shelby wanted ad from the old saacforum 1.0 :D

I recently posted a real wanted ad, found what I was looking for, and I can assure you, I am happily paying the seller for it, as I'm not getting any younger. he is happy, I'll be happy once I have the car in my garage, why anything else matters in regards to this equation, I'll never know.

Interesting, anyone have a registry handy? I'm 600 miles away from mine at the moment.

Bill for future posts "cars for sale" from members should be in this classification and other cars for sale like that we see on the web should be in the "up for auction" part of this forum? This is a car for sale for 300K plus and not in any auction.  I just found this car also on this link in this section-didn't see it in cars for sale section before I posted : http://www.saacforum.com/index.php?topic=15295.0   so you may want to remove my topic here?   Thanks. Gary

Gary,

I had already merged it in the proper "up for auction" subforum when you made your last post above  ;)

In the future, anything you find on the web needs to be posted here in the "up for auction" subforum (which allows open discussion as allowed by applicable law).

if the car is reported stolen how it could be registered ? In USA you don't have a federal offices that every states are connected to ? i can  steal a car in California and Registered in NY ?

Most likely the car is registered with it's original VIN, and the stolen shelby vin tag was bought off craigslist along with other stolen bits and pieces. Or, perhaps not, yet the full story has yet to be told by those who took the pictures.

Do you really think that this 1966 Mustang 'C' code coupe has any more value than another typical '66 Coupe due to it's VIN number?  ???

I dragged 100007 out of the Bronx back in 2005, a red fastback, sold it to a long time friend in CT where it is still torn down, awaiting a "quality" restoration. It's finding did not garner much attention, but the hunt on the "rumor" was most of the fund for me anyway.
