I believe that the body-in-white was rare, but  a real thing. I know of a 1969 BIW that was built into a 1969 Shelby. It was assigned a state serial number.

The notes regarding the updates to the car are on Brian Style's website...

I dont think the pictures shown in this thread accurately reflect what was done. I would call the original pictures shown....the 1967 version.

I agree...

We should randomly post local events, pictures found on the internet, answer our own posts and other nonsensical items to get our post totals up.

The carb is dated "995" looks new, but I can not vouch for when it was rebuilt.

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Re: Horns

Horns are different. Bracket orientation changes, because horn opening must always face down

Looks like this w/o the "N". Note the ribbing is different. It has two vertical ribs, not one. The no "N" case is about $1500-2000 if you can find one. It is a hard part to find.
#6028
No. Look at the ribbing on the case. The case you posted does not look correct.
#6029
The car should have a N case, but the N is not present on early cases. The ribs are in the same places and it appears the same in every other way

I wasnt unusual for the engineering cars to stay around for months or years. I would agree, we may never know the full extent of the program.

I wonder where the "dual" Paxton references come from?
