I think you are talking about the H-pipe outlets?

They are 6-inches apart, center-to-center.

I looked into having them reproduced a while ago and once they saw the sample they weren't interested.  Wouldn't even give me a quote.

Carolina Region SAAC / Re: Was that good for you?

Barely over 1-year ago we had a 7.1 earthquake in Ridgecrest where I live.  That's 100 times stronger than the one you just had.  We've had literally 1000's of earthquakes since the 7.1 and 100's above 4.0.

I have learned to hate them and can now feel them coming by the way the ground starts to vibrate and the sound.  You usually hear them before you feel them.

I have seen a number of the floor pan plugs plated Olive Drab Zinc.  Most were Zinc Dichromate.  But just to be clear, they aren't painted.  They are plated.

Never seen an original without a date on the back cover.  So, no, not original.

I know I have some.  And some if not all are mounted on wheels.  But you don't need the wheel?

Carb is correct for automatic not 4-speed.  Should be an AA not AB.

Does anybody know what TOBY means on 69 wheels?

OK Ed, who was the original manufacturer of 1969 Boss 429 lug nuts for Kar Kraft?

I believe this has the wrong clamp on the balance tube on the H-pipe.  Rest is correct.

These photos and others are in the "Reference Information" section on my website.

Royce,

Are you saying the Cougars used the KR snorkel?

The Shelby drawing for the KR S-tube (three holes and three notches) shows an S8MS part number which we all know is 1968 Shelby.  What is interesting is that there is a hand written note on the drawing saying "was S8WS" which is 1968 Cougar Shelby or XR7-G.  Hmmm.

The Lounge / Re: 392 Challenger outruns cops

I have two 392 Challengers and they really aren't all that fast, especially compared to the Hellcat and the Demon.  But I guess it was fast enough that day.

This is how the original slot/alignment tab would have been in the H-pipe/resonator pipes.  There should also be factory flats of the H-pipe just ahead of the outlets.  You can see them in this photo.
