Sir Stirling Moss dead at 90.
« on: April 12, 2020, 07:24:19 AM »
One of the greatest drivers to never win a championship. Stirling participated in vintage racing in his later years, in fact he even raced a '65 Shelby GT350 detailed in the attached video.
God speed Stirling.

Met him several times at Lime Rock and once at Laguna Seca over the years...always a gentleman signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

Condolences to a great and classy racer.

Condolences to his friends and family.

He was a class act. Had the pleasure of sitting across the table from him at a dinner in Monterey, in the '90s.

BTW:  "Stirling."

I believe that is a '66 GT350, I remember when it came up for sale several years ago. Moss was a legend - RIP.

You are correct sfm5, confusing description within the attached video. I did find the Mecum ad for the same car which further details the car and it's history.
