What does the green look like?production numbers?

davez

Kind of a cloudy / milky  military green, but glossy of course. Somebody in Maryland had a 350 I saw at a Sterling Va carshow 10+ years ago. Was for sale at the time.

Bigfoot

I believe this car has been in CO a while and is well known to Pete and others.

The orange car above is not painted its original shade of orange.

There were six special paint colors.

So is this orange KR not the correct orange?

There were three shades of orange in 1968

WT 5185 the same as Calypso Coral in 1969

WT 5014 the same as Grabber Orange in 1969

WT 5107 a "mustard brownish" colored orange

The two orange cars in this thread appear to be painted Calypso Coral, or WT5185, which is not the correct orange for either car based on the records.

Hey Pete - do any of these colors translate into Poppy Red?  I LOVE that color!  That was the color of my first classic Mustang...what a beauty!

Poppy Red = Calypso Coral = WT 5185

All the same
