Yes but doesn’t having a CSX# make it more desirable than any kit without it ?
Depends, if you are looking for a car to drive, the CSX # does not matter. If you are looking for an investment, then the CSX # does not matter either, as it will never be an original, just a reproduction and it won't be till your great, great grandchildren are around before it will be considered a good investment, and even that comes in to question. But then again, it's your money, and your personal tastes, wants, and needs, so it's strictly up to you in the long run. My advice is to just not get caught up in the advertising hype of one vs the other.

PS: PS: I'd rather have a Kirkham Coupe in aluminum, save the extra cash for something else, like a matching Kirkham 289 roadster.....You'll never find a nicer owner of the company than David himself.
