We were lighting candles, making offerings to all the Saints and Spirits (rum) that 5R002 would surpass that horrendous green bullit....prayers answered.

It's hard to get excited that someone with a large investment portfolio has invested in a car that they will probably never drive from another guy who had a large investment portfolio who never drove the car. And we celebrate because those investors spent more than a similar group who chose Bullit as their investment of choice.

I think that John drove some of his cars, ocasionally, but not sure. He invited me to go to his warehouse to see his collection. I guess I should have made the trip to Seattle.
Original owner of 6S550. Owned since 1967. 64,000 Miles, all body original except hood and front valance. All glass original except windshield. Still has aluminum 4 speed. Has replacement Mico.  Also own 1966 Mustang convertible. They are drivers, not trailer queens.
