Anyone have automatic shifter laying around that they can give me the diameter of the hole the shift arm goes into?
See pictures On lever and the replacement bushing. I have the bushing from NPD and it won't fit in the hole... I had to use a lever from a different shifter as my original disappeared during a move but don't know what year the lever was from as no part on that shifter has part number. I can drill it out but want to be right the first time. Any thoughts?

I measure the hole at 0.530".

If yours is less, it likely was from mid 1972-73, when Ford used an upgraded shift arm with a captured stud.

I'm glad you corrected the typo in your subject line.  I had a hard time not making a smart ass comment.    ;D
