lots of new car 1965 GT350 pictures on this site in the early pages

These pictures are rich in detail, thank you for posting.

Obviously an early Venice car(s).
At first blush, some of the differences from cars such as mine (mid LAX car):
-shock/shock tower bolts;
-oil press idiot light w metallic vice fabric oil press line;
-mis-matched LeMans bar hardware;
-both painted and unpainted hose clamps;
-tailpipe hanger;
It is also refreshing to see the alternator properly clocked, a common 'restoration' error.
Looks like the side exhaust were painted black.
Covina never looked better, so dead now.

I bet there are scores more....

Some of the pictures are stored under more than one archive site and some are similar ones from same sessions are held in private hands. Some are the same as used in new car articles.

Great compilation of pictures. Many of them I have seen before, such as the GT350 somewhat airborne and nose down on a dirt road. I believe there was even a thread about this picture on Forum V1.0. I had not seen the other pictures of that same car, presumably taken at the same time. It seems like someone took the car for a test drive, to see how it would handle a dirt trail?

Question, on the second page, row 5, and row 10, the photo shows a headlight cover being experimented with, is this something

that was going to be tried, looks like an R-model they are working on ? there is another image further along that shows this cover

roughed in with clay.

Is that Pete Brock on the left ?

Yes, definitely Peter Brock on the left.  Didn't see that one, very cool.

Found a group of published and unpublished pictures of 6S392 (white supercharged magazine car) within the archive and a couple of pictures from a road test of a dark colored 66 also.

I created an account and selected an image. It asked what the final use would be, I said "Posting to the SAAC Forum". I expect it will be similar to the image library at Ford in that they will have a set cost per image depending on use. When I buy images from Ford it costs $35 per image for them to grant use such as this. We will see! Might be next week before they reply.

I love all the Knots Berry Farm show pics, anyone from SoCal knows this has been the go to Shelby/Ford show for decades ,i used to go when i was a teenager every year before i could afford a Shelby,just to see them all lined up.
