Thank you all for the congratulations!

She should be arriving in the next week.

67 GT500 fully restored black with white stripes.  Automatic.  Pictures were stunning

Can't to meet her   8)

By the way, who is the best mechanic near LA/Beverly Hills for the 428?

Who did you guys insure through? Hagerty?  They don't have great online reviews.  Who else would you recommend?

Any other pointers for a new GT500 owner?

What he said.  Yea, I hear 67 owners manual are worth at least 80K now.

Congrats as well. I hope to see it soon. Steve Beck (Checkpoint Automotive) down in Santa Monica is a great mechanic.

I use Heacock for insurance, might check with them

Congrat's on getting the car!

I have had 6 cars insured with Hagerty for around 10 years with no claims but the rates are good and fewer restrictions than some other insurers...

Please check multiple insurance options

I found Hagerty to have higher rates in my area.

Apparently after 30 plus years, they just assumed I was a lock.

If you drive your car much you had better check on the other companies driving restrictions as well as price. Some have a milage restriction and some allow club activities only. With Hagerty the only restriction is you can't use the car as a daily driver and no mileage restrictions. When I read about other's restrictions I called Hagerty and I was told they want you to 'drive the cars'. Multiple cars have an impact on the rates also... :)
