GT350 Pewter Mug

I have this cool pewter mug that a childhood friend gave me.  He got it as a kid back in the 70's when his dad had a 66 GT350.  When I bought my car he was kind enough to give it to me because he said  he would never be fortunate enough to own a GT350.

In the inside base of the Mug is appears to say PEW TA REX.

Does anyone know anything about this mug?  Just curious.

It's the name of the mug manufacturer.   You'll find pewter stuff on ebay with the same markings.
