1965 1966 Ford Mustang shelby fastback in box  NOS trunk mat Ford part number. C5ZZ-6345456 CAB just removed from box The trunk mat is new it has three little splits no water damage a little dirt Marks on the back of the mat otherwise amazing condition has very nice color after 35 years of collecting parts it's time to pass them on look at the photos make sure this item would be right for you questions 360-306-4023 jack

If someone put one up for 1000.00 it may be perceived as what is wrong with that one because it is too cheap. ::)

So whats the call on this item. Would not having this mat kill your score in a concours event or would a replacement be OK.

It all depends on what class you are in and what venue. If a class that a quality repro is acceptable then there are acceptable high quality versions available . If in a class that does not allow repro then there would be a deduction for the repro . There are various tells to verify original. I'll let others go into that dissertation . Condition of a original is also a consideration and depending on condition may merit points deduction or just a mention. I have never seen one sell for even close to the amounts on the discussed auctions but who knows what the future holds.
