Not looking for mousetraps, just stating what i felt 2/3 years ago with the Ford expert who had worked on the 350s development. How he thought that these 350s where the CATS MEOW. I just did not agree and told him back then they where OBSOLETE and that when the GT500s and C8s come out they would eat the 350s lunch. Went further and predicted Ford would shelf this STALE product. And as far as collectivity, I truly see none.

In life you have to call it as you see it. It will make you unpopular, but in the end you did the right thing. Watch my next post life as a referee....

Well back to the topic at hand,  Ford shelves STALE product....r.i.p.

Well,I REALLY liked the first one..... ;)

Became outdated when the mustang pp2 cane out for about 20k less

Then the GT500 drove the stake directly into its heart....ouch !

I doubt you have drive a gt350, that flat plane crank make it sing - They really pull, handle and feel raw, I will buy one at some point.

To answer your question, no I do not own a 350 or 350R

But i have driven both. Yes they are fun and very spirited, but at their time OVER PRICED by dealers.

I don't want to repeat my discussion with a well known race car driver about two or three years ago when he got offended that I expressed my thoughts on this product.  Overpriced and Obsolete even tgen as I knew that the new GT500 was coming out and would annihilate both 350 350R in handling and acceleration. I was even bold enough to tell or predict that
The 350s would be laid to rest by Ford.....

The Prophet

They always build a better mousetrap year after year so if that's your mark you will never own anything.

Yes in life you have to call it like you see it, that's why I disagree with your assessment on the GT350.

It appears FL and CA have a lot in common.....

Dear 427 Hunter,

I feel we have corresponded enough that we should be on a first name basis.

427 we dont have to agree on anything.

My point is what that article clearly states Ford is removing from the shelves an OBSOLETE and STALE product.

The GT350 GT350Rs are magnificent drivers,  but greedy dealers asking way over MSRP and been out done by its big brother the also over priced GT500.

I spoke to Shakespeare and this is what he had to say;

Alas poor GT350, I knew him well, a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.

Oh and let me add the VOODOO motor grenading did not help the 350s cause

Mach 1 is coming out with many Shelby parts

Not to mention (I will) that a plain mustang with a YOTE and the PP2 handling option in it would keep up with it for about $20,000 less

Save $20k and pump $10k into a gen 5 supercharger game over GT350...

I could go on but my typewriter ribbon is running out of ink....

I don't own a new gt350 so I'm not sure why you keep on trashing them?

You don't like them okay that your opinion, I think you confusing opinions and facts. Just because a company wants to be government subsidized and get the fleet contract does not mean anything more then they want the money.

427 I like them but you can't ignore the facts:

The GT500 is a much better car acceleration and  handing
Mustang GT with PP2 actually performed equal to or better for 20K less

The consumer over paid due to inflated MSRPs (fools)

Voodoo motors grenading
Valve train chattering
Coolant disappearing
Engine vibrations
Consuming large amounts of oil
Gear box issues
Leaking gear oil
Oil lines coming loose
Oil pump failures
Lock down or shuddering when breaking hard

Ford realized years ago that this peace of toast was stale,  needed to be replaced and that brings us to today. The last GT350....arrivederci

Don't believe me look at the guy pointing up
