67GT350-2229

I have been the owner of 2107 for a years, spend a lot of time reading the forums but do not post much.  The car was originally a Sud car from Canada and has a detailed owner history. I have been fortunate enough to speak to all the owners except for the original owner who is listed as M. Archanbault from Quebec. I know it is a long shot but curious if anyone knows anything about him or how to get in contact with relatives. Just would like to continue documenting the history.

Also, the car was shown at World of Wheels in Edmonton in 1987 and won best of show, looking for any documentation from it also. At that time it was featured in a magazine, documentation says Road and Track, but not sure.

Thanks in advance for any help or leads!!

Thanks for posting, and your inquiry about the history of your car, I think you are aware of this forum (link below) you might get

some information there, It is in French, but you can use Google translate.  Coralsnake who posts here is mentioned in that forum,

though he is mostly about '68s he might be able to help, he does have a lot of info on his site about Sud Auto where your car was

sold.

I've included some images (they have been here before, maybe on forum 1 ) that I took at Sud in the summer of '67. From the

2011 registry, I see your car wasn't sold till October, maybe the one in the photos is yours, the resolution is not the best so I'm

not sure if these are 350s or 500s. Also a photo from '68 of unsold '67s on the lot at Sud, that some one else posted.

The original owner M. Archanbault (spelling ?) would be getting on now, if he was in his 20's when he bought the car he would be

in his 70's now.

Also added a link to the Canadian Motorsport Society Facebook group, you have to join both these forums to post.

Also a link to Autocourse.ca, another forum out of Quebec, there were a couple of '67s raced in period at the St. Jovite, Le circuit

track in period that were from Sud. You might be able to get some help there ?

Lot of resources, as I said you might know them and have exhausted those avenues, hope this is of some help.

Mike (honker on the forum) I am in Canada, just east of Toronto.

Thank you so much!! Such a shame, the car was sold at one time at the Russo  auction and some original documents and the owners manual that was with the car got separated. Hope to 1 day reunite them :)
