John what about the mopar guy north east of stockholm that we bought the GG original boss 429 from as he had several rare mopars so i bet he would know that car?
i just see few pictures of a crazy collection with 14 hemi cars  there !!! a lot of muscle cars in this area !!!

Oh yeah! Several collections around Scandinavia.

Last pic shows a Swedish Hemi and a Norwegian Boss 429. Photo from the 1983. The Boss was later exported back to the US. Hemi is still in Sweden.

Real interest and a passion for style!

Back in the 70's, US cars was cheap and was imported in the 10000's to Sweden.

Sweden also had a large group of «raggare». Read more about it here; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raggare

That group was known for driving US made cars, lots of alcohol and most girls was not safe!

You also have to remember, Swedish car production was Volvo and SAAB. Not much inspiration in that design and with astmatic engines. No wonder US made cars with a lot of chrome and bright colours was in hot demand.

For the last 30 years a number of cars has been exported from Sweden /Norway back to the US.

Hemis, even hemi convertible, Boss 429, Shelbys, Thunderbolt, Hemi Barracuda, 427 Galaxies etc.

Interesting  a raggare in swedon back then must have been like our hippies back in 60s 70s.
