Steering Gear Box
« on: February 21, 2021, 07:08:23 PM »
Hi guys,
A friend of mine in Sweden owns a 1970 Boss 302 with manual steering and he has a problem with the steering box.
Is there any difference for a Boss 302 or could he use any 16:1 box between 1967 and 1970. Shop Manual for 1970 specifies
SMB-K box. Anybody know where to find one?

Thanks,
Bob, Is this correct and do you want to part with it in such a case?

Thanks guys and especially Bob,
My friend Bruno's son found a new steering gear box in Sweden.
His Boss 302 was featured in the Swedish Magazine Nostalgia in 2020.
See attached front page.
