You can usually stay on a Hill overlooking the track. It's a few minutes walk from there down to the track.

Is anyone besides me not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling yet as far as trailer / secure car parking?  Or am I being too paranoid... again , my first convention...

I know I will get a bunch of smart arss response's, but, I have not heard any response besides rent a garage... I would like to understand if there is a place to park your car/trailer that is somewhat secure?

Until you go to leave leave the trailer at the track. Very secure.

I am sure there are lots of details to work out. I appreciate those efforts!   Its not like my car is worth a ton, but, they are our cars. Looking forward to it.

Cal,

Your trailer & car will be one of many at the track. The track is usually very secure, and they have thier own staff to patrol and man the gates. It's very rare there is ever a problem at this or any large marque gathering, as we are all looking out for each other. I have left mine at many, never an issue.

Best advice? The track is good and safe, relax, enjoy the weekend. It's your first, you will overload on all things Shelby, Mustang, Racing. Have a cold beverage and enjoy!

NASCAR is playing at Sonoma Raceway this Sunday.  Good chance, especially for first timers, to get a view of the track and facilities.  8)

I saw somewhere that ESPN Commentator Mike Joy runs a Vintage T/A car?

That car belongs to Kenny Epsman who frequently provides one of his "stable" for Mike to drive when he is out here on the west coast. They are long time friends.

My 2016 Shelby GT350R Does not have tow hooks in the front or the rear and Iím getting some information that ZL one makes a good tow hook for the front, does this track require a front tow hook to run open track?
