Looks like 1973 oil embargo lines all over again!  Well, don't have to mow the lawn this week!

A lot of stations in GA and TN are out of gas and the ones who have gas are really jacking the prices up. I'm driving to NC this weekend and I don't know what to expect though I'll be driving my diesel so maybe it won't be bad.

All they need to do is divert some oil from the Keystone Pipeline - oops never mind.

Take a drum of heating oil or farm diesel along.

what is occurring in FL is mas hysteria, "da dummies" don't comprehend  that the "pipeline" does not affect our supply situation as our fuels come via the ocean through port everglades in fort lauderdale.

same thing happens every year when they announce the commencement of "the windy season"

some pictures I took as I was going to purchase ice cream today at the empty grocery store....oh it was vanilla...

The governor of Michigan is attempting to close "line 5", which runs  from western Canada, to Ontario, and passes through Michigan, based on environmental concerns. The line has been in place since the 1950's. If successful it would cut off over 40% of fuel product supply to Ontario, Quebec, and  several northern states. Now that will cause serious lineups.

I don't know what she is thinking! oil companies have such a stellar record when it comes to pipeline and leaks. "The company says it has never experienced a leak in the underwater section of Line 5 and is currently working to tunnel beneath the lake bed to further improve the safety of the pipeline. But in the last two years, the pipeline has been struck by boat anchors and cables. And in 2010, a separate Enbridge pipeline spilled 3.2m liters of oil into Michigan's Kalamazoo River."  3.2 MILLION liters....I remember that fiasco when it happened.
