Very nice!  But you may want to add the 67 GT 500 tail housing, C6OR-7A040-D as well.

I will need to look and see what I can find on my side on that one and update if needed.  I did not show a C6OR-7A040-D being used.  Would be good if others can comment on that as well.

Here is the listing for it in the 1968 Ford High Performance catalog.

Couple more showing that tail shaft housings. Both of these were also from RUG-S transmissions

The transmission I posted pictures of, is out of #591.  So, maybe later '67 GT500s used a C7 housing as well.?.?

So it looks like the 68 Performance Catalog shows the C7 and not the C6 being used in Mustangs.  But thats also hand written information I see posted in there.
And also thats for 1968 and not for 1967 model year as per that book.

The two I posted were both from RUG-S out of 68 cars

The handwritten notes are proof of use, for me so I don't have to remember everything😉, from original transmissions I have from my 67 Shelby and 69 428 Mach 1. The 68 Performance catalog does not list any large output housing for a 67 Mustang, just 68-on. So.?.?  I know the transmission I have is original and clearly Jeff has pictures of the C6OR-D housing being used in some 67-68 Mustangs/Shelbys as well.

More pictures of #591 trans.  This particular Shelby trans has the C5AR input bearing retainer instead of the C6AR also. Just another running change. 🙄

Took this yesterday from my 67 GT350.

You might have seen that number around on other parts of your car. Would have been the second rotation number assigned to the car for the last "half" of the assembly process. Something San Jose did on a pretty regular  basis and as mentioned I believe in the basic transmission paint mark publication a couple of weeks back on this site
