Does this answer your question?

Not JD but the tag on the opposite side would answer which transmission it is. Picture shows the details of just the main case of the transmission shared by many different ones

Ok, try again.  Correct VIN on bottom, along with big yellow 3.

Thanks guys "Hockeylife" and Jeff.

That's it - OK so it has the RUG N unit, so can you say what the SJ (San Jose) build date of your car was?

Trying to determine when the change from the HEH BX to the RUG in the small blocks started.  It seems to be later than previously thought.

Thanks.

Can't make out the last digit in the transmission tag number. Might it be a "7" ?

Hockylife, Thanks again.  Were asking about the serial number, the second line of numbers below the model type (RUG N 1) on the riveted Transmission tag.

Jeff, I think it's a "7" too.

Took this yesterday from my 67 GT350.

Yes, found it on mine as well. It allowed me to figure out the rear valance numbers too as they were really hard to see.
Ignore the black spray bomb everywhere. PO had a thing for SG. But it did save some marks that might have otherwise degraded.
