5R538 is going to a great, long term home. Not many R Models as good as that one floating around out there...

I was at the Daytona SCCA runoffs in 1969 crewing for a BP vette driven by a guy in my reserve unit.  He DNF'd.  But I remember hearing the ridiculous rpm's Kemp was running on the high banks that were so much higher than everyone else.  We were sure he'd never make to the end turning revs that high.  But what did we know.  We were a busted plastic pig team watching from the pits.
