69 speedo cable routing

Quick question... speedo cable , 2 clamps to firewall or one? Have seen both ways , just one on the rt side, and also one on both sides of the tunnel.

Normally 2 on a 4 speed'70 Mustang. Check with Dead Nuts On. They have some details of this on their website. Rick.

4 speed or automatic?

Here is an example of what has been found on on 69 Dearborn 4 speed cars

First one (from speedo meter to the one at the center of the firewall) is metal and to the right of the one highlighter with the arrow

Thanks guys ... it is a 4spd. Seems like two would be the number , one on the right side of the tunnel and another on the left down lower by the brake lines.

If you are looking for the total between where it exits the interior till it connects to the transmission I count three. Two on the firewall shown in the picture and on on the passenger side foot board I think has been shown in other threads
