Today marks the 54th anniversary for my G.T.500 which was completed by Shelby American on 7/17/1967.  I bought it when it was 10 years old on September 2, 1977.  That makes almost 44 years of ownership.  It has been a ride.  And mostly a good one.  Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"
