Hi all! just became a member and will like to present myself, being around mustang's all my life! family had a GT350R 67, various 65,66 and a 65 shelby clone, I´ve had a 65 HT 289 and now I´m the proud owner of a SAAC MK1, number 062, quite an impressive car to say the least, attached some pictures from my dad and uncle racing and of my 65 and SAAC!

Thanks for the nice introduction and pictures. I didn't know the MKI 062 was for sale. Maybe it was a private sale.
The previous owner and I talked on many occasions in the past. I hope the family kept the black '67 Shelby GT350.

In your two photos of the start of a race, is that the Partida de Las Seis Horas Peruanas, 1966 ? (spelling ?) The image of cars on

track is that also the same event ?

I have the one photo, but not the one showing the drivers running to the cars, thank you !

Of the 30 production MKI's built (plus 6 prototypes), 5 were shipped to Peru, all exported at the same time.
They were the first 1992 models built.

All 5 are still in Peru.

thanks! always wanted to be part of shelby club, but wanted to have a car that matched, it only took me 40 years!
