Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

The "white" truck and trailer picture is indeed the West Coast portion of the Ford Drag Team. The tall guy is Richard "Dick" Wood ( not joking) and the other is Ed Terry. Dick drove the Torino and Ed the Mustang. Both were powered by the 428CJ engines. The East coast version was Blue and was for  Hubert Platt and Randy Payne. Both gave 'Drag seminars" at various Ford dealers across the country in '69.
