Jim Morrison Shelby

With Little Red, The Green Hornet, the 2nd Bullett Car, all being found what’s the chances that the Jim Morrison GT500 will all of a sudden be found?
There’s got to some piece left somewhere that will turn up
It’s been too quiet recently. Any new rumors?
Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

My take: depends on how deep your pockets are. Somebody will build that car out of DNA taken from a swap meet cigar lighter.

Was the car in the Midwest featured in a Utube documentary found not it? IIRC, it had a good number of coincidental damages Morrison's car would have sustained, discovered when they were doing a restoration...

Some experts have declared it is the car. Some experts have said it's not the car.
There was a bunch of sheet metal replaced before they "discovered" it's the car.

That car is not the Morrison car. Wrong vin. number. That owner went so far as to change the factory black interior to parchment to make it more like the Morrison car. What experts? They didn't know what they were looking at.

Many including myself thought my car was the MORRISON car in the beginning, because it used to run around the same places jims car used to be, and was raced and enjoyed in its first few years of life. A few variables between cars is mine was a lot faster back in the day with many engine transplants but they were both removed from street driving duties around the same time 1971- So mine was known back then as BLUE CHEER apparently. CHEER-Y enough just not Jims car... ;D

We only need one more "expert" to chime in, I'm sure he will be along soon. 😂

Dont agree that the car is still with us , but I believe that possibly someone of influence or great influence and financial resources would want to recreate or resuscitate this valuable Shelby.

As stated before , this project has been in the works for years.

Not only Mustang / Shelby experts, but many other experts in different non automotive fields are involved. The duplicating and aging the paper work for your paper trail as you mentioned has more than likely been done. You will have witnesses available to testify its validity and existence. This is a major production.

The vehicle may come out as a derelict rebuildable or driveable  with patina. Again years in the making.

Once again all the I will be dotted and all the Ts will be crossed...
