Wooahbundy gave me his findings. So can we get some more clarification here? I would appreciate it. Here is a car. GT350 air 4 speed 70 amp battery. So this would be a group 27 or group 24? We all know the 500 carries only a group 27 and a standard GT350 a group 22 so on the order form you can pic a 55 amp(group 24?) or a group 70 amp(group 27?) for the GT350 only as optional. Thanks for the help
The sheet shows a "2" marked for the battery which is the 70 amp 27. The next step optional battery for a 4 speed  GT350 was typically the 24 . FYI the GT350 auto came standard with the 24 .I have not seen a indication that the auto ever came with a 22,has anyone else? This is not very typical for a GT350 4 speed to skip the 24 and go with the 27 but the sheet is the provenance.

So, Bob, to be clear a GT350 auto came with a 24-hence the GT350 4 speed on the order box "1". The 4 speed came standard with the group 22. Correct? That would make sense on the battery box order area.
GT350 4 speed group 22. Option 1 is group 24 and option 2 is group 27
GT350 Auto. group 24 standard  Group 27 option 2 only
assumption is with air on a 4 speed it is mandatory group 24

To be clear Bob the sheet above showing the 70 Amp is an air 4 speed car. That is Colin's old red 69 GT350 4 speed air car.

In case my statement was not clear enough I will clarify . Regardless of whose car it was the 27 in a 4 speed GT350 is not very typical and for those that disbelieve , the order sheet is the provenance (proof) that it came that way.

Bob, my post was to make sure you knew the car was a 4 speed air and not just a 4 speed no air. So a 4 speed air would still get a standard group 22? Not a group 24 standard? Thanks for you expertise on this. Gary

A four speed air car would get the group 24. the 27 was a rare seen option for those.
