Hi,

- I just found out you can purchase the OVC peter brock redesigned front valance from NPD p/n:17A939-1PBA
- Now I'm wondering: Can we get the OVC peter brock redesigned rear plexiglass without the hump?

Thanks for answering, super helpful forum, gold mines of information!

I think he should - he recently purchased the (said to be original) tooling to make the R Model side window frames.

PS - the engines are all new Shelby Engine Company 289s with 425+ hp.

I'm not sure about right now but initially they weren't interested in selling their parts separately. They weren't interested at that point in supplying "clones".

Personally though I would think that is where the majority of the "business" is right now.

I'm not aware of any new change in plexiglass technology but my experience with it is it will begin to develop cracks along the edges in a "few" years. Some sooner. Some lasting much longer. So count on it not lasting "forever".

Biggest change is Lexan and Poly Carbonate materials. You need to take the time to sand the edges with 400 grit and even buff (or flame) polish the edges. Any nick or line left from sawing out the part can grow into a crack. Also over tightening can lead to cracks.
