We still have a lot of vinyl.  Mostly 33 1/3.  A few 45's.  Some 78's.  Still have a turn table.  Still have a cassette player.  Still have a wind-up Silvertone Victrola from the 1920's that works. My wife got a portable 78 player from her family!  It also still works, looks like a small suitcase.  You'd take that out on picnics in the 20's, 30's and 40's.  We have almost every Beatles album, twice.  My wife used to tell people she married me because I had a complete collection of Beatles.  I'd fire right back that she did also and HER'S are ORIGINAL's.  Most of mine are later pressings.

I'm old enough and was fortunate enough to see the following in person,
Doors , Who , Stones, Cream, Dylan , Joplin , Airplane, Dead , Ronstat , Buffalo Springfield, Animals , Kinks, Yardbird , Birds, Strawberry Alarm Clock , Herman's Hermits and others that slip my fossilized memory. Funny thing is they are still played today! I only had AM because I wasn't "hip" enough.

First one I ever went to, first time I ever heard a woman say "F#$k" in a normal conversation
She was really drunk and sounded nothing like her records
Owned since 1971, now driven over 245,000 miles, makes me smile every time I drive it and it makes me feel 21 again.😎

I got tickets for the Doors at West Covina's Carousel Theatre. The girl I was taking parents nixed the Doors idea so we went to the Byrds a couple weeks later.

In concert generally sucked if you went to hear the music.
Also did you ever notice how all those 60s in concert albums just don't sound right? The secret is the bands played their concerts but not in the studio.

'Most' live albums are cleaned up for release. The only way to get the real live experience from a band was by purchasing a live bootleg. Two good examples of this are "Frampton Comes Alive", and Zeppelin's "The Song Remains the Same". Both commercially released album versions are vastly different than the 'real' concert versions. Again, cleaned up and over dubbed to remove the mistakes.
Past owned Shelby's:
1968 GT-350--Gold
1970 GT-500--#3129--Grabber Orange.
Current lifelong projects:
1969 Mustang Fastback/FOX chassis, 5 speed, 4 wheel discs, with a modern Can-Am 494 (Boss 429), Kaase heads, intake with a 1425 cfm 'B' Autolite Inline carb, ala Trans-Am style
1968/70 Olds 442 W-30

Damn!  So you missed the Lizard King in concert??
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Rolling Stones, The Guess Who, Free, CCR, Nazareth. To name a few.

Sorry Guys, JMO.
Have never been a Led Zeppelin fan,  that goes for Joplin and Bob Dylan as well.

I had the "Archies" Sugar Sugar that came on the back of a cereal box - can't recall which cereal but the record played just fine on my parent's 33 1/3 Sears stereo. Maybe 1968?
