I see that the Shelby Heritage Center has a GT350 t-shirt that just doesn't look quit right to me.
Maybe that rumbling I feel is Old Shelby rolling around down under.
But you can't really expect the newer generation to know all the facts about the older cars.

The Super Charged Script on the Grill?  I wonder why they left off the Tri-Bar Pony?

The current iteration of Shelby is not known for their historical knowledge

What caught my eye is the '66 but the text is about a '67... ???    :o

Nothing they do surprises me anymore.  No real thought process.

To be fair, the vintage illustrations of the day weren't 100% accurate either.

FYI - Austin Craig works at SA in Vegas. That should be enough historical insight that these problems wouldn't crop up. The scoop also looks stuck on rather than an integral part of the hood - just like the Shelby GT.
Did the 67 have more power, acceleration? Same HiPo engine in a heavier car than the 66 generally does not equate to either. The cast iron exhaust manifolds probably worked against the 67 too.
We're also missing the fact when you popped the hood those valve covers read COBRA Powered by Ford not SHELBY.

Worst faux pas ("embarrassing f-up" as it would've been known in my former world of publishing) is printing words about a '67 with the artwork of a '66.
